All of my services require an initial intake appointment. During
this hour-long session we will discuss your and your child's concerns,
address specific background information, talk about therapeutic goals
and the process of therapy. Thereafter, all therapy sessions are 45
minutes. To schedule an appointment or discuss your concerns, please
contact me via phone or email. I return phone calls and emails by
the next business day.
Once you have scheduled an initial meeting with me, please download,
read, complete, and bring with you to the intake appointment the
documents in the Forms section below.
My practice is fee-for-service and payment is due by cash or check at the time of service.
I have sliding scale slots for all my services for clients with financial need.
Services may be covered by your health insurance. I am now accepting Blue Cross, Blue Shield and Aetna insurance. In addition, for an "out-of-network" reimbursement, I can provide you with a "superbill" to be submitted to your PPO insurance provider.
Please check your coverage carefully by asking the
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment,
and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you
will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
Please be aware that correspondence does not in and of itself
